An author contacted me last week about narrating his book. I went out to ACX to get the script and couldn’t find it because he specified a young male narrator as his preference. Hmmmm. I emailed him back and asked if he really wanted a mature female (me) to audition to narrate. He said yes, so I thought what the heck and I did the audition. I haven’t heard back yet, sometimes it takes weeks. What happened to you this week where you wondered if that happens to anyone else?
