Yes, you capture their thought process so perfectly. If a visiting dog or cat expresses the slightest interest in whatever our Sam has turned his nose up at, he will either gobble it up or hide it. And when he hides a goody he always has second thoughts and rehides it several times. If your dogs do the triple and quadruple hiding thing, please do a pictorial on that. I know you will make it hilarious.

Thanks for the compliment! JJ and Benny don’t hide food. JJ carries treats around sometimes for 30 minutes or more. Benny separates out his evening meals sometimes into choice and not as choice. We have lots of food weirdness.

I don’t have any pics of him hiding things. He once found a dead mouse outside while there was still snow on the ground. He carried it around the perimeter of the house several times, then dug several holes in a snowbank before digging the right one. He stuffed mousie inside. He glanced up and saw us watching him through the window. and realized we knew where his treasure was hidden. So he dug his buddy back up and went behind the garage. We don’t know where the poor thing ended up, and never saw it again.

What a funny story! If you have pictures of him walking around and looking at you, I can make a cartoon from this story.
